Annie was the fifth child and third daughter born to Joseph Scott and Ann Dupong.
She was born 1 May 1869 in County Down, Ireland.
She died 2 January 1941 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Annie was the only one of her siblings born in Ireland.
In 1881 Annie was living with her parents at 14 Boat Vennell, Ayr, Scotland. She was 11 years old and a scholar. By 1891 the family had moved to 6 Gordon Place, Ayr, Scotland and Annie was employed as a Dressmaker.
Annie married John Ballantine Martin in 1895 in Greenock, Scotland. John was born in 1867 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. In 1901 he was employed as a Tobacco Warehouseman and the young family lived at 43 Aitkenhead Road, Glasgow, Scotland.
Annie and John had six children: Annie Dupong, Isabella Ballantine, William M., John Ballantine, Scott and Craig.
Annie signed her mother Ann's death certificate in Glasgow in 1914.
Annie's cause of death was listed as Myocarditis hyportatic Congestion as certified by Alex C. Spiers LRCPS. Her son William M. Martin signed her death certificate.
