SCOTT, Jean 1925 - 2011 Peacefully at the Manoir Heather on Thursday, March 10, 2011, Jean in her eighty-sixth year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Raymond Deignan. Loving daughter of the late Hugh Dupong Scott and the late Elizabeth Logan, originally from Scotland. Jean was predeceased by her sisters Annie, Bella, Ettie, Bette, Margaret, brothers Joe, Willie, John and Hugh. Jean and her favorite expression "You made my day" will be dearly missed by all her nieces, nephews, extended family and caring friends. She was the youngest of this original Scott family who came to Canada in 1918. She is now passing the torch to the next generation. Jean was a devoted employee of Henry Birks and Sons for 37 years a long time volunteer at Heather Hospital. Funeral service from the chapel of the White & Sons Funeral Home, 3555 Metcalfe St., Rawdon on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. The family will receive condolences commencing at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Annie was the first child and daughter born to Hugh Dupong Scott and Elizabeth Logan. She was born 30 September 1900 in Greenock, Scotland.
She died 10 September 1973 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

She married Edmund John Turnbull and they had one son: Edmund Albert Turnbull.

Isobella Dupong Scott (1902 - 1953)

Isobella was the second child and daughter born to Hugh Dupong Scott and Elizabeth Logan . She was born 2 August 1902 in Greenock, Scotland.
She died 25 September 1953 in Montreal , Quebec, Canada.

Isobella married Edward John Finnerty on 9 June 1925 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and they had four children: Mary Elizabeth (Mabeth), Michael, Anne and Edward Jr.

He married Jemima (Mima) Broach Campbell on July 18 1936 and they had three children: Eleanor , Bill Jr. and Barbara Ann.
